2005 SQUAD

The under 13s were involved in a thrilling Scottish Cup tie at Currie on Sunday eventually winning 4-3 after extra time. It was a slow start by GFR and they trailed 2-0 at the interval. But after the break they came storming back and Russell Kerr rifled a shot into the top corner..

Lewis McEwan displayed some great footwork to fire a shot into the net from outside the box to take the tie into extra time. Currie missed a penalty and McEwan bagged a second before the home side levelled the game with a free kick. But it was GFR who had the last word with Harry Fowler scoring the winner from the penalty spot.
