CUP REHEARSAL

 

Gala Fairydean Rovers travel to the Falkirk Stadium this Saturday to face East Strilingshire in a Lowland League fixture. The game has taken on extra spice because the teams have been drawn together in the second round of the Scottish Cup on Saturday, October 20, at Netherdale.

But this time it is vital league points at stake. A supporters bus will be running to this game departing from the Netherdale clubrooms at 11.45am. The cost of the return journey is just £6.

 

 

HOME GAME

 

Gala Fairydean Rovers Amateurs continued their recent good form with a 5-0 win away to Hawick Legion Rovers on Saturday. The Gala scorers were Martin Gibson, Alan Shiel, Sean Reid, Jamie Scott and Patrick Carlin. This Saturday, Leithen Rovers are the visitors to the Netherdale 3G Arena for a South of Scotland Cup tie, kick off 2pm.

 

 

2006 SQUAD

 

Currie Star Whites visit the Netherdale 3G Arena for a Scottish Cup second round tie. Kick off is 11am.

 

 

2005 SQUAD

 

The under 14s recorded a 5-3 win over Dunbar United Colts at the 3G Arena on Sunday.  Scorers for Gala were Callum Marshall(2), Kai MacRae(2) and Dean Hunter.This Sunday the team is away to Musselburgh Windsor Blues in the Scottish Cup.

 

 

2004 SQUAD

 

DEFENCES were on top as the under 15s fought out a goal-less draw against Newcraighall Leith Vics at the Netherdale 3G Arena on Sunday.  This Sunday the team is away to Dalkeith Thistle in the Scottish Cup.

 

 

2003 SQUAD

 

The under16s lost 8-2 away to Leith Athletic on Sunday. No fixture this weekend.

 

 

LOTTO

 

There were no winning tickets in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw at the weekend. The numbers were 8, 12 and 16. That means the estimated jackpot this Sunday is £800.

 

 

BONUS BALL

 

Kenny Wilson was the £25 winner in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition with number 36.

 

 

HALF TIME DRAW

 

The winner of the Gala Fairydean Rovers 50/50 Half Time Draw at Saturday's Scottish Cup match versus Lossiemouth was Ross Buchan who

won two tickets for the Scottish Cup Final next May.
