LOWLAND LEAGUE GAME

After all the drama of the Scottish Cup, it is back to Lowland league business on Saturday for Gala Fairydean Rovers when high-flying Cumbernauld Colts visit Netherdale.

Premier Club cards apply for this match which kicks off at 3p.m. Otherwise the admission prices are £5 for adults and £2 concessions.

Next Tuesday, Gala Fairydean Rovers are away to Gretna in a Lowland League fixture. Kick off at Raydale Park is 7.45p.m.

There will be no supporters bus for this game.

2004 SQUAD

The under 13s enjoyed an impressive 4-0 win over Bonnyrigg Rose Whites at the 3G Arena on Sunday to progress to the fourth round of the Scottish Cup. With the defence of Paddy Beatt (GK), Joe Charlton, Aaron Milburn, Dougray Seggie and Jon McLean on top from the start it allowed Gala to impose themselves offensively with Damien Konowalski giving them a 1-0 half time lead. The excellent Tor McGillivery added a 2nd a minute into the second half before Cameron Riddell made it 3-0 after 50 minutes. Konowalski added his 2nd on 60 minutes to round off a very good display and credit again to the whole squad for an assured performance.

Next up is a home league fixture against Tranent on Sunday at the 3G with an 11am kick off.

2003 SQUAD

The under 14s lost out 5-4 in a dramatic penalty shoot-out against Lochend YFC in the Kenny McLean Cup at the 3G Arena on Sunday. The teams had been tied 3-3 at the end of extra time.

This Sunday the team travel to play Cramond FC in the Willie Bauld Cup. Transport times to be given at training.

2002 SQUAD

The under 15s departed from the Scottish Cup on Sunday losing 4-2 away to Murieston United. This Sunday they travel to play Bonnyrigg Rose Reds.

The under 15s Colts drew 3-3 against Edinburgh City Reds in an entertaining game at the 3G Arena on Sunday afternoon. The Gala scorers were Kieran Hayes, Tom Lockey and Adrian Kulik. This Sunday the Colts host Edinburgh South CFC Colts in the John McConnell Memorial Cup. Kick off at the 3G Arena is 12.30p.m.

2001 SQUAD

The under 16s lost out 6-5 to North Berwick Colts in a thrilling game at the Public Park on Sunday. This Sunday the team play Spartans FC Whites at the 3G Arena, kick off 2p.m.

2000 SQUAD

The under 17s went down 6-0 to Tynecastle FC Colts in the Scottish Cup at the Public Park on Saturday.

This Saturday the team play Musselburgh Young Stars. Kick off on the Netherdale back pitches is 12 noon.

LOTTO

NO tickets matched the numbers 3,18 and 20 in the weekly Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw. That means the estimated jackpot this weekend rises to £500.

BONUS BALL

BRUCE Noble was the winner of the weekly Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition winning £125 with number 47.

50/50 DRAW

The winner of the 50/50 Half Time draw at the Gala Fairydean Rovers v Fraserburgh Scottish Cup tie on Saturday was Bruce Corcoran from Galashiels who won £92 with ticket number 11312.
