NO LOWLAND LEAGUE GAME

GALA Fairydean Rovers have no game over the Christmas period with the Lowland League going into temporary shutdo

The annual Ian Hume Memorial Game between Gala Rovers and Gala Hotspur players of the past will take place at the 3G Arena on Tuesday, December 27, kick off 2p.m. All proceeds go to Parkinson's Disease Research.

LOTTO

Christine R., care of Harry Watson, was the £250 winner of the weekly Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto Competition with numbers 6, 13 and 17. The Lotto draw now goes into hibernation over the festive period.

Thanks to all the ticket sellers and buyers over the course of the year.

CLOSED

The Gala Fairydean Rovers clubrooms will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Please do not try and access the pitch as the 3G facility will be locked and there is no ambulance access.

2004 SQUAD

The under 13s finished the calendar year in style with a 8-2 home victory over Eyemouth at the 3G Arena on Sunday.

In a sluggish first half Gala went in 2-1 ahead thanks to goals from Jack Niven and Gary Flinn but they exploded out of the blocks in the 2nd half with 3 further goals in the first five minutes from Damien Konowalski (2) and another from Flinn. With Dylan Ellins and Tor McGillivray pulling the strings in midfield Flinn went on to add another two goals to bring his game tally to four before McGillivray rounded off the scoring with a fine run and finish.

2002 SQUAD

The under 15s went down 7-1 to a strong Hutchison Vale side at the 3G Arena on Sunday.

The under 15s Colts lost 7-2 at Peebles.

2000 SQUAD

The under 16s recorded a 2-0 victory against Salvesen CFC Reds at the 4G Arena on Sunday.

MERRY XMAS
