HOME GAME

AFTER another thrilling victory on the road, Gala Fairydean Rovers are back on home territory this Saturday. Dalbeattie Star are the visitors to the 3G Arena for a Lowland League fixture.

Premier Club cards apply for this match. Otherwise the admission prices are £5 for adults and £3 concessions.

Kick off at the 3G Arena is 3p.m.

LOTTO

A mouth-watering £1,000 is up for grabs in this week's Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw. No tickets matched the numbers 5, 8 and 10 in Sunday's draw.

BONUS BALL

There is a triple rollover in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition as number 20 was unclaimed. The prize money this weekend is

£75.

2004 SQUAD

The under 13s were left rueing a poor first half showing as they went down 6-5 to Peebles at the 3G on Sunday. Unfortunate to be on the wrong side of a couple of offside decisions Gala still didn't defend well enough in the first half and were punished on a couple of occasions by long balls over the top. Going in at the break 5-3 down the second half saw a much more determined and organised team take the game to Peebles and

despite a late onslaught from the home side, Gala were left to rue a host of missed chances throughout the game as Peebles progressed to the semi finals.

Gala's goalscorers were Gary Flinn (2), Jack Niven, Tor McGillivray and Kerr Johnston.

No game this week.

2003 SQUAD

The under 14s went down 7-4 to Musselburgh Windsor Blues in the Ian MacKay Cup on Sunday.

This Sunday the team is at home to leith Athletic Colts. Kick off at the 3G Arena is 12.30p.m.

2002 SQUAD

The under 15s recorded a hard-earned 3-2 win over Cavalry Park at the 3G Arena on Sunday. Alex Ainslie, Owen Renton and Jamie Whitehead were the scorers for Gala.

This Sunday the team entertains Musselburgh Windsor in a league match at the 3G Areans, kick off 12.30p.m.

The under 15s Colts went down 8-4 to Edinburgh City Reds.

2001 SQUAD

The under 16s lost 5-2 away to Edinburgh South CFC on Sunday. There is no scheduled fixture this weekend.

PREMIER CLUB

Winners in the Gala fairydean Rovers Premier Club draw for January were: £100, Keith Forsyth; £50, Alan Howlieson; £25, John Moon.
