HOME GAMES

AFTER a couple of away days, Gala Fairydean Rovers are back on home territory this Saturday when Civil Service Strollers visit Netherdale. Ferrari Packaging Lowland League points are at stake with Gala aiming for their highest ever finish in the table if they can put a run of results together. The teams drew 3-3 at Muirhouse earlier in the season and another close encounter is anticipated.

Premier Club cards apply for this match. Otherwise the admission prices are £5 for adults and £3 concessions.

Kick off at the 3G Arena is 3p.m.

LOTTO

TWO winners shared the £600 jackpot in the weekly Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw. Bruce Swan and Stuart Graham correctly chose the winning numbers 9, 11 and 12.

BONUS BALL

DAVID Allison was the £25 winner of the weekly Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition with number 26.

2004 SQUAD

The under 13s recorded a fine 4-2 victory over Edinburgh City at the 3G Arena on Sunday and produced some excellent flowing football in the process. Leading 4-1 at half time through goals from Damien Konowalski (2), Jack Niven and Cameron Riddell and despite spurning a host of chances throughout the game, Gala saw the game out comfortably enough with the defence of Joe Charlton, Dougray Seggie, Jon McLean and Kerr Johnston, who was excellent in midfield also, snuffing out most attacks whilst Tor McGillivray and Damien Konowalski were a constant threat going forward.

Next fixture is away in the league to Tranent on Sunday.

2003 SQUAD

FOR the second week in a row the under 14s have no scheduled fixture this Sunday. A friendly game may be arranged.

2002 SQUAD

GOALS from Danny Hollywood and Harry Green gave the under 15s a 2-1 win over Bonnyrigg Rose Pumas at the 3G Arena on Sunday. The visitors scored late on and pushed for the equaliser but the visitors held on.

This Sunday the under 15s host Craigroyston BC at the 3G Arena. Kick off 12.30.

2001 SQUAD

The under 16s continued on their winning ways with a 3-2 win at North Berwick on Sunday. The Gala scorers were Josh Lamb, Josh Third and Jordan Hogarth.

This Sunday the team is at home to Edinburgh South CFC in the Division Three League Cup semi-finals. Kick off at the 3G Arena is 2p.m.

2000 SQUAD

The under 17s passed up several good scoring opportunities and ultimately went down 3-0 at home to Currie on Saturday.

This Saturday the team is at home to Cramond Blues. Kick off at the 3G Arena is 11.45am

DIARY DATES

The Lowland League has released new dates for rescheduled matches. Gala Fairydean Rovers will be at home to BSC Glasgow

at the 3G Arena on Saturday, March 11, kick off 3p.m. And title chasing East Kilbride will visit the 3G Arena on Saturday, April 1, again with a 3p.m. kick off.
