GFR WEEKLY UPDATE


AWAY DAY

AFTER two consecutive home games, Gala Fairydean Rovers are on the road again this Saturday when they travel to play East Stirlingshire. The venue will be Stenhousemuir's Ochilview and this will be a tough league test for GFR. East Stirlingshire have recovered from their opening day defeat against BSC Glasgow and secured a point at Dalbeattie on Saturday thanks to a last minute leveller from Conor Greene. Kick off at Ochilview is 3pm.

A supporters bus will be running to this match. Meet at the clubrooms at 11.30am for a prompt 11.45am departure.

2005 SQUAD

The under 13s had their first experience of playing on the full length pitch at Netherdale on Sunday and went down 6-1 to an older Earlston side. Robbie Paterson netted the Gala goal. This Sunday the team have their opening league fixture away to North Berwick Colts. The following Wednesday the under 13s are away to Edinburgh South CFC. Transport times to be given at training.

2004 SQUAD

The under 14s are away to Lochend YFC on Sunday in a league match. On Tuesday they are also on the road, away to Dalkeith Thistle.

Transport times to be confirmed.

2003 SQUAD

The under 15s are at home to Edinburgh City FC on Sunday. Kick off time at the 3G Arena is 12 noon. On Wednesday the team travels to play Arniston Rangers.

2002 SQUAD

The under 16s are at home to Edinburgh South CFC this Sunday. Kick off time at the 3G Arena is 2p.m.

HALF TIME DRAW

The winner of the 50/50 Half Time Draw at the Gala Fairydean Rovers v Gretna match last Wednesday was Stewart Robertson who won £33. The winner of the draw at Saturday's game v Spartans was Adam McClory who collected £41.

LOTTO

THERE were no winning tickets in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw on Sunday. The numbers were 2, 15 and 19. That means the estimated jackpot this weekend is £800.

BONUS BALL

NO-ONE had number 27 in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition at the weekend. There will be rollover prize of £50 this weekend.
