DALBEATTIE VISIT

The stakes are high when Dalbeattie Star visit the Netherdale 3G Arena this Saturday to face hosts Gala Fairydean Rovers. Both teams are hovering perilously close to second bottom spot in the Lowland League table which could potentially mean automatic relegation depending on the outcome of the play-offs It is the first of three consecutive home fixtures and Gala need to start picking up points to move away from the

danger zone. It promises to be a cracking match and Premier Club cards apply. Admission charges are £5 for adults and £3 concessions.

Kick off at the Netherdale 3G Arena is 3pm.

DERBY TIE

Gala Fairydean Rovers Amateurs face Gala Thistle in a Sanderson Cup quarter final tie on the Netherdale back pitches on Saturday.

2005 SQUAD

HEAVY snow on Saturday night put pay to the under 13s game against North Berwick Colts at the Netherdale 3G Arena on Sunday. This Sunday the team is away to Arniston Rangers in the Coplin Campbell Sports Cup.

2004 SQUAD

Disappointingly the under 14s cup final at Bonnyrigg on Sunday against Longniddry Villa was called off due to a snow covered pitch. The David Innes Cup Final date is due to be re-arranged. This Sunday the under 14s are away to Leith Athletic Colts in the Kenny McLean Cup.

2003 SQUAD

The under 15s are away to Longniddry Villa this Sunday. Transport times to be confirmed at training.

2002 SQUAD

The under 16s face a trip to play Dunbar United Colts on Sunday in a league game.

PITCH MAINTENANCE

Please note that after official bookings the main goal posts will be moved away from their normal positions. This is to prevent wear and tear of the penalty box areas which has shown up in a recent pitch inspection. Coaches are asked to lead by example and wear moulded stud boots for training sessions and adhere to the footwear guide.

Spectators should remain behind the white barriers at all times. High-heeled boots and flat-soled shoes are particularly damaging to the pitch.

Your co-operation is appreciated to help ensure the longevity of the pitch so that future users can enjoy the facilities.
