GALA Fairydean Rovers will be looking for a victory to preserve their Lowland league status when they travel to play Whitehill

Welfare on Saturday. A supporters bus will be running to this match leaving from the Netherdale clubrooms at 12.30p.m.

Kick off at Ferguson Park in Rosewell is 3pm.


GALA Fairydean Rovers Amateurs have the opportunity to reach their second cup final of the season this weekend. They host Highfields from Berwick in the semi final of the Sanderson Cup at the Netherdale 3G Arena on Saturday.

Kick off 2pm.

2005 SQUAD

The under 13s defeated Salvesen CFC 5-1 in a league match in Edinburgh on Sunday. Scorers for Gala were Callum Marshall(2), James MacLeod(2) and Dean Hunter. The team are away to Hutchison Vale Colts in the semi final of the Colin Campbell Sports Cup this Sunday.

2004 SQUAD

The under 14s progressed to the semi final of the Colin Campbell Sports Cup with a comprehensive 6-2 win at Musselburgh Windsor Blues. With the back three of Dougray Seggie, Jon McLean and Callum Gray in good form and Sam McClymont bossing the midfield, Gala attacked at will with the goals coming from Ben Hawkins (2), Tor McGillivray (2), Finlay Wheelans and Jack Kerr. Next up is the David Innes Cup final on Sunday. Kick off is at 2pm at Bonnyrigg. The club is running a bus to the game, just get in touch with any club member to book a seat. Cost is £5 per seat.

2003 SQUAD

The under 15s won 5-2 away to Edinburgh City on Sunday thanks to goals from Dylan Curran(3), Sam Derrick and Pierre Billet. This Sunday the team host Peebles in the Division Two league Cup Semi Final. Kick off at the Netherdale 3G Arena is 12 noon.

2002 SQUAD

The under 16s went down 8-1 away to Longniddry Villa Whites on Sunday. No game this weekend.


The winner of the £74 prize in the Gala Fairydean Rovers 50/50 Half Time Draw at Saturday's game v Stirling University was Sheila Robertson from Galashiels.


There were no winning tickets in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto Draw at the weekend. The numbers were 1, 8 and 16. That means the estimated jackpot next week is £1200.


NO-ONE had number 13 in the weekly Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball Competition. The rollover jackpot this weekend is £75.
