LEADER’S VISIT

THERE is another big match for Gala Fairydean Rovers this Saturday when Lowland League leaders Spartans visit the Netherdale 3G Arena.

Premier Club cards apply for this match. Otherwise the admission prices are £6 for adults and £4 concessions. Kick off is 3pm.

HOME GAME

Gala Fairydean Rovers Amateurs host Ancrum in a Border Amateur C DIvision fixture this Saturday. Kick off on the Netherdale back pitches is 2pm. The team lost 8-3 against Leithen Rovers in the South Cup on Saturday with Gibson, Lamb and Curran the Gala scorers.

2006 SQUAD

The under 13s were in good form on Sunday as they defeated Currie Star Whites in the Scottish Cup at the Netherdale 3G Arena. This Sunday the team is away to Portobello in the South East Region Cup.

2005 SQUAD

The under 14s lost 5-3 away to Musselburgh Windsor Blues in the Scottish Cup on Sunday. This Sunday the team is at home to Lasswade Thjistle in the South East Region Cup. Kick off at the Netherdale 3G Arena is 11am.

2004 SQUAD

The under 15s departed from the Scottish Cup on Sunday going down 3-2 to Dalkeith Thistle in a hard-fought game. No game this Sunday.

2003 SQUAD

The under 16s entertain Musselburgh in the South East Region Cup at the Netherdale 3G Arena on Sunday kick off 1pm. The squad is on the look out for any new players born in 2003. Training is at the 3G Arena on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

LOTTO

The winner of the Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw was Jim Gray who collected £800. The winning numbers were 1, 7 and 13.

BONUS BALL

The winner of the Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition was Bobby Fairburn who won £25 with number 27.

PREMIER CLUB

The winners of the Gala Fairydean Rovers Premier Club draw for September were: £100, George Ross; £50, Graeme McIver; £25 Syd Lee.

HALF TIME DRAW

The winner of the 50/50 Half Time Draw at Tuesday night’s match versus Gretna was Mark Gammie from Galashiels who won £37.
