Gala Fairydean Rovers head up to the capital this Saturday for a Lowland League fixture against Civil Service Strollers. The Strollers have been the surprise packets of the league this season sitting in fourth position and won at Netherdale earlier in the season. Kick off at Christie Gillies Park in Muirhouse, Edinburgh, is 2pm. Please note there will be no supporters bus for this match.

2006 SQUAD

A thrilling fightback saw the under 13s book their place in the final of the Edinburgh Cup. Trailing 3-0 away to Edinburgh South the team looked down and out until they rallied and scored three goals to take the semi-final tie into extra time. The teams could not be separated so it went down to penalties with Gala winning 4-3. This Sunday the team is at home to Musselburgh Windsor. Kick off at the 3G Arena is 11.15a.m.

2005 SQUAD

The under 14s continued on their winning ways with a 5-0 away at North Merchiston on Sunday. This Sunday the team is away to Salvesen CFC.

2004 SQUAD

Another excellent performance from the under 15s resulted in a 3-1 win against Edinburgh South CFC on Sunday. This Sunday the team is at home to Bonnyrigg Rose Whites. Kick off at the Netherdale 3G Arena is 1p.m.


There were no winning tickets in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw at the weekend. The numbers were 14, 17 and 20. That means the estimated jackpot this weekend is a mouth-watering £1800.


For the second week running, Audrey Mann was the winner of the Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition with number 45 winning £25.


The winner of the 50/50 Half Time Draw at Saturday's match between Gala Fairydean Rovers and East Kilbride was Jennifer Thompson from

East Kilbride who won £50.
