AFTER a tough run of fixtures against the top four teams in the Lowland League, Gala Fairydean Rovers have no scheduled game this weekend. This will allow time for the squad to recover from a long list of injuries and to prepare for the final five league games and to try and finish as high up the table as possible. There is also the Lowland League Cup to look forward to with the draw being made this Monday.

2006 SQUAD

AN entertaining game at the Netherdale 3G Arena on Sunday saw the under 13s run out 4-1 winners against Lothian Colts.There was little to choose between the teams in the first half with the scoreline 1-1 at the interval but Gala got the breaks in the second half to clinch the league points. Scorers for the home side were Sam Ostle (2), Chris Wilson and Lewis Douglas.This Sunday the team is away to Tynecastle FC Whites in the Colin Campbell Sports Cup.

2005 SQUAD

The under 14s went down 3-1 away to Hutchison Vale Colts in the David Innes Cup on Sunday. This Sunday the team entertain Musselburgh Windsor FCin the Kenny McLean Cup. Kick off at the Netherdale 3G Arena is 11am.

2004 SQUAD

The under 15s lost 4-2 away to Edinburgh United in the Division Two League Cup on Sunday.This Sunday the team host Peebles at the Netherdale 3G Arena, kick off 1pm.

2003 SQUAD

AFTER no fixtures for the past few weeks, the under 16s are back in action this Sunday when they travel to play Longniddry Villa in the Jackie Fichney Memorial Cup. Transport times to be given at training.


There was one winning ticket in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw at the weekend with Robert Fairburn winning £400 with numbers 12, 16 and 20.


NO-ONE had number 57 in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition. That means there is a £50 rollover prize this weekend.
