GALA Fairydean Rovers Academy hold their annual presentation day at the Netherdale 3G Arena this Saturday. The juniors section gets underway at 9a.m. with the youths awards due to take place at 1pm. This will be followed by the annual Coaches Cup, kindly donated by The Trophy Cup, which will involve a match between the coaches of all the Academy teams. Kick off is 3pm.

2006 SQUAD

The under 13s round off a successful campaign with a home match against Tranent Colts on Thursday evening. Kick off at the Netherdale 3G Arena is 7.30pm.

2005 SQUAD

The under 14s recorded a fine 6-2 victory away to Dunbar United Colts on Sunday. The team now have two away games to complete their season - Hutchison Vale Colts on Sunday and Longniddry Villa on Tuesday.

2004 SQUAD

The under 15s finished off their season with a 3-1 win away to Dalkeith to end their campaign in third place. Despite the blustery conditions and the bumpy pitch, Gala played some great football with their sharp passing combinations causing constant problems for the home team. The goals came from Finlay Wheelans who scored his 36th and 37th goals of the season followed by a stunning 25 yard free kick from Sam McClymont. Now for a well earned break, pre-season details will be posted on the Facebook page in the coming weeks.

2003 SQUAD

The under 16s travel to play Tynecastle on Sunday in their final league fixture.

LYNN McCourt was the sole winner of the Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto competition with numbers 5, 10 and 19 which paid out £400. The winner of the Bonus Ball with number 24 was Robert Fairburn who won £25.

The annual general meeting of Gala Fairydean Rovers FC will take place in the clubrooms on Thursday, June 20, at 7.30pm. All Premier Club members welcome.
