GFR WEEKLY UPDATE


AWAY DAY


AFTER all the excitement of the Scottish Cup, it is back to the bread and butter of the Lowland League this Saturday for Gala Fairydean Rovers.

They face a trip to play Edinburgh University at Peffermill which is always a tough fixture. Kick off is 3pm. Supporters should note that the recently postponed away match at Gretna has now been rescheduled for Saturday, November 9, kick off 3pm.



HOME MATCH


For stay at home supporters, Gala Fairydean Rovers Amateurs are at home this Saturday against Tweeddale Rovers Colts. Kick off at the Netherdale 3G Arena is 2pm.



2007 SQUAD


The under 13s defeated Edinburgh City Reds 5-0 in a league match at the Netherdale 3G Arena on Sunday. This Sunday the team is on Scottish Cup duty with Portobello the visitors to the Netherdale 3G Arena. Kick off is 11am.



2006 SQUAD


The under 14s went down 4-1 at home to Edinburgh City on Sunday. This Sunday they are also playing in the Scottish Cup. Elgin Star from Dunfermline are the visitors to the Netherdale 3G Arena, kick off 1.15pm.



2005 SQUAD


The under 15s lost 7-0 at home to a strong Edinburgh City side at the Netherdale 3G Arena on Sunday. This Sunday they are away to Beechwood in a league match.



2004 SQUAD


The under 16s lost 4-0 away to Edinburgh United on Sunday in the SouthEast Region Cup. This Sunday the team is away to Longniddry Villa Colts in the Colin Greenhill Memorial Cup.



2003 SQUAD


The under 17s continue to go well with a 7-2 victory over Cavalry Park at Netherdale on Saturday. This Saturday the team is away to Dundee West in the Scottish Cup.



LOTTO


Once again there were no winning tickets in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw. The numbers were 4, 6 and 19. That means the estimated jackpot this weekend is a mouth-watering £2,000. Make sure you get your tickets before 2pm on Sunday.



BONUS BALL


Neil McDougall was the £25 winner of the weekly Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition with number 32.



HALF TIME DRAW


The winner of the 50-50 Half Time Draw at Saturday's Scottish Cup tie against Formartine United was Colin Martin who collected £70.
