GFR WEEKLY UPDATE



HOME GAME


BONNYRIGG Rose will make their first ever visit to Galashiels on Lowland League business this Saturday. The fixture has been switched to the Netherdale 3G Arena with Gala due to visit Bonnyrigg later in the season. Rose are hot on the heels of league leaders Kelty Hearts trailing by six points but crucially with two games in hand.


But after an encouraging 2-2 draw away to East Kilbride, Gala will be hoping to create another upset and continue their climb up the table.

Premier Club cards apply for this match. Otherwise the admission prices are £7 for adults and £4 concessions. Under 16s free of charge but only if accompanied by an adult.


Kick off at the Netherdale 3G Arena is 3pm.



AMATEURS AT HOME


AFTER their impressive display against A League leaders Hawick Waverley, Gala Fairydean Rovers Amateurs will be aiming to continue their good form this weekend. St Boswells are the visitors this Saturday in a Border Amateur C Division fixture. Kick off on the Netherdale back pitches is 2pm.



2007 SQUAD


The under 13s defeated Peebles away on Sunday. This Sunday they host Musselburgh Young Stars in the semi-final of the Persevere Cup. Kick off at the Netherdale 3G Arena is 11am.



2006 SQUAD


Another battling performance saw the under 14s unfortunate to go down 3-1 away to Musselburgh Windsor in the Kenny McLean Cup. This Sunday the team is away to Leith Athletic in a Division One fixture.



2005 SQUAD


The under 15s recorded an impressive 5-2 win over Musselburgh Windsor at the Netherdale 3G Arena on Sunday. This Sunday the team is away to Edinburgh City FC in the Federation of Hearts Supporters Cup.



2004 SQUAD


The under 16s came roaring out the blocks and were 2-0 up against Bonnyrigg Rose Whites at the Netherdale 3G Arena on Sunday. But the visitors came storming back to level 2-2 and a draw was a fair outcome.



2003 SQUAD


The under 17s play hosts to Spartans FC Youth this Saturday. Kick off time and venue to be confirmed.



LOTTO


There was one winning ticket in the Gala Fairytdean Rovers Lotto draw on Sunday. Karen Mercer wins £200 with numbers 3, 8 and 16.



BONUS BALL


IT's a £75 triple rollover prize this weekend as no-one had number 52 in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition last Saturday night.
